THE DZAMBHALA PRACTICEDzambhala
Dzambhala means the god of fortune. The Dzambhala deity is the embodiment of the perfect generosity of all buddhas and bodhisattvas in the past, present and futue. Dzambhala grants wealth and prosperity for accomplishing all virtuous aims and relieves poverty of sentient beings both on a psychological and material level . He helps those dharma practioners to have a stable live and free from worries while practicing dharma. He grants blessings to those who vows to support sanghas and monasteries. The practices of the Dzambhala wealth vase, torma offering to Dzambhala, water offering to Dzamabhala, and recitation of the Dzambhala mantra will gain blessing to relieve poverty. When done with single-pointed concentration and faith, these rituals easily increases one's financial prosperity. Lama Norlha Dzambhala Puja
In order to benefit sentient beings, Guru Rinpoche manifests into different forms to liberate them from samsara. One of the manifestation is Lama Norlha, the Guru of all Dzambhalas. He is associate with Tumo Norgyima as Dzambhala Yabyum. His blessings increase the energy of prosperity. It removes the sufferings of poverty. It relieves one's mind and allows practitioners to practice dharma without worry mundane living. This practice was revealed by Terton Jigmed Lingpa and Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche received this lineage from Tenga Rinpoche. Origin of Lama Norlha
In one winter long time ago, Guru Rinpoche travels to a land in Tibet where people suffers from poverty. Their king requests Guru Rinpoche to do a Dzambhala Puja to free them from sufferings. Guru Rinpoche miraculously manifests himself as Orgyen Khandro Norlha and he become Lama Norlha ¨C the Lama of All Dzambhalas. Through his blessing, this land starts to become wealth and people never heard the name of poverty again. That's why this Lama Norlha puja is usually requested by the king to eliminte obstacles of the land, attrack and gather people, wealth and food and bring good luck. Before Guru Rinpoche left Tibet, he hids the Lama Norlha's practice text in a secret place and asks Dakinis and Protector to safeguard it, until terton (treasure revealer) Jugmed Lingpa recover it and pass it to his disciples today. Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche was born in Tibet. He became buddhist monk under Kagyu tradition at the age of seven in Kongya Monastery of Chinghai. He took the Getsul and Gelong vows from late Dasang Rinpoche. Like other lamas and Rinpoches, he travelled to India to seek for higher dharma training. He stayed in Sherab Ling Monastery for eight years. He studies relative bodhicitta for two years, then ultimate bodhicitta for another two years, and Nagajurna's Midhyamaka for eight years. He also treceived the Hundred Deities Puja (Zhitro) from His Eminence 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche. After completing his study in India, Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche proceed to Nepal and enter his Three Years Three Months and Three Days Retreat with Tenga Rinpoche, then he received deeper dharma study with Very Venerable Khenpo Tsultrim Rinpoche. He finished the Mahamudra Ngondro and Six Yogas of Naropa under Khenpo Rinpoche's guidance. When Kongyu Monastery of Chinghai, Tibet requests Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche to be their root guru, Khenpo Rinpoche appoints Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche to go there and give teachings because Khenpo Rinpoche has to take care his own Tekcho Ling Nunnery. Unfortunately due strick policy of China Government, all foreign lamas are not allow to enter Tibet. That's why he return to his own Nigu Monastery in Nepal. Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche's first teaching to foreigner is in Spain. He was invited by their Kagyu Dharma Center to give teaching of Mahamudra, he also went to Singapore and Malaysia. Rinpoche give the teaching of bodhicitta at UKK Karma Kagyu Dharma Center. Rinpoche's trip to Philippines is through the help of Dharma Sister Anita of Singapore. She is one of the disciples of 3rd Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche. Lama Kunzang request Dharma Sister Anita to invite Rinpoche on behalf of Philippine Karma Kagyu Buddhist Society in order to establish good karmic connection with him. Before Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche come to Philippines, he has noticed the needs of people. Rinpoche requested some Dzambhala Wealth Vase (Bumpa) to send to Philippine Karma Kagyu Buddhist Society to help them to hook the good fortune. These Dzambhala Bumpas are divided into two kinds. One is Dzambhala Bumpa of All Dzambhalas, and another is Dzambhala Bumpa of Tumo Norgyima. If one can sponsor these Bumpa and do Dzambhala practice associate with it, the practice will surely ripens and enhances our karma for an abundance of resources. The main key of doing Dzambhla practice is giving generosity. Buddha Shakyamuni said, "If one has not accumulated enough virtue, it is not possible even to hear Dzambhala's name." |
