Philippine Karma Kagyu Buddhist Society, Inc. conducts regular group practice on different Sahanas and Ri Wo Sang Chhod Puja on the ff schedules:
Sadhanas - every Friday night at 8:00 pm For those who are interested to enter peacefulness of mind training, you are welcome to contact our dharma center.
Lama Kunzang with the sanghas will perform a daily puja on 21 Taras, Medicine Buddha and Offerings to Protector Mahakala to help those who need blessings to be freed from the suffering of misfortune, sickness, sudden death and others. Each puja bears great blessing for those who can generate pure faith to three jewels. Anyone who interested to join may register with PKKBSI sanghas Tel# (632) 714-5553 or send email to admin@kagyu.org.ph and we will forward it to Lama Kunzang. The registration is free. If one would like to support this project either sharing informations with others, helping the sanghas to perform the said activity, or make donation to the dharma center in any form or in any amount; we will appreciate it very much.

February 8, 2008 (Friday) - Puja and activities for Losal
Lama Kunzang together with the sangha and PKKBSI officers and members will celebrate Losal {"new year") by hanging prayer flag called Lungtha (means "wind horse") on 9 O'clock in the morning. Lama Kunzang with do a prayer to invoke blessings from buddhas of three times and ten directions for the happiness of all sentient beings. Through this activity, one will activate special energy and carried by wind to send it to everyone.
A dinner party will be held on PKKBSI's dharma center. After dinner (on 8:00 PM), Lama Kuinzang will lead a group puja by offering water torma to Dzambalha, For those who wish to join the puja may bring you own offerings to the three jewels.
February 17, 2008 (Sunday) - Chi Lu Puja for purification of negativities.
This is a very special puja to be done each year according to Mahayana Buddhist tradition. Lama and sangha will lead the participants to generate boundless compassion to help those sentient being from the three lower realms, specially those we have hurt in the past life time. Those who return to seek revenge from us. While the puja is going on, lama and sanghas will do the ritual and the participants are requested to chant mantras multiply merits. Through the blessing of Buddha, these sentient beings will be liberated. for more details on Chi Lu, one may read Lama Kunzang's short teaching on Chi Lu at Liturgy Section of this website.
Chi Lu Puja will be held on 3 O'clock in the afternoon. Those who are interested to join must bring small piece of cloth with our sweat on it, few pieces of finger nail, and small piece of hair from our crown. Sponsorship will minimal fee will be requested for the purchase of necessities of the puja. For further inquiries, please call or visit PKKBSI. February 23, 2008 (Friday) - Return of Lojam Rinpoche
Lama Kunzang is announcing that Lojam Rinpoche is returning to Manila this March 2008. A series of teachings and empowerment are expected during that time. PKKBSI will give the detail of puja schedule when everything is settled.
March 27, 2008 (Thursday) - Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche's Arrival
Lama Kunzang previously announced the invitation to Lojam Rinpoche to teach dharma again in Manila this March 2008. Because suddenly something unexpected occurs, Lojam Rinpoche cannot come to Philippines as we have planned earlier time. So, Lama Kunzang has to made changes and invites Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche. Rinpoche arrive Manila This March 27, 2008 (Thursday). A series of puja will be planned and announced to public soon.
March 29, 2008 (Saturday) - Tsewang Tashi Rinpoche's Puja Schedule "Updated News" March 30 (3:00 PM) - Riwo Sangchoe Smoke Puja Puja Dedicated to the victims of earthquake and cyclone May 25 (3:00 PM) Sunday - Riwo Sangchoe Smoke Puja Buddha of Comapssion emanates into Gyalwa Gyamtso and performs his power to liberate sentient being from the Lord of Death.: Natural Calamity like strong earthquake with 7.2 intensity in China and cyclone in Myramar (formerly Burma) took away so many lifes and make love ones separates to each other. Survivers suffer fromhunger and sickness. Not to mention the wealth they accumulate whole life. Just a single moment, allare gone. Buddhists and Non-buddhists extend their helping hands together. Some do prayers to wish for their relief soon. Some even risk their life to fly to their place to help. This is what Lord Buddha taught us: the Buddha Nature. Due to request of members, Lama Kunzang is giving teachings on the Four Foundation Practice "Ngondro" every Sunday afternoon @ 3:00PM staring June 15, 2008. Once Very Venerable Kalu Rinpoche said that Ngondro is more profound than Mahamudra because the fruition of its practice will lead us to great achievement easily. Many high lama who already accomplish the three years three months and three days retreat keep repeating doing Ngondro. For those who are interested to learn Ngondro with Lama Kunzang may join them on every Sunday afternoon (except last Sunday of the month because it's Riwo Sang Chhod Smoke Offering Puja). June 20, 2007 - Lama Kunzang representing Philippine Karma Kagyu Buddhist Society to send Donations to the Victims of China Earthquake
The core of buddhist practice is compassion. Officers and members of Philippine Karma Kagyu Buddhist Society had collected 140 thousand pesos and 100 us dollar to help those victims in Eastern Sichuan, China. Lama Kunzang represented PKKBSI to turnover the donation of the Ambassador of China. June 27, 2008 @ 7:00PM - Celebration of His Holiness 17th Karmapa Urgyen Thrinley Dorje's Birthday This coming 26th day of June year 2008 (western calendar) is the birthday of the supreme head of Karma Kagyu lineage. Members and officers of Philippine Karma Kagyu Buddhist Society Inc will gather and do a simple celebration this special event on June 26, 2008 @ 7:00PM at PKKBSI. A long life puja will be held to wish for HH 17th Karmapa's stronger life force for benefiting more sentient beings and dharma activities be flourished. Lama Kunzang will lead everyone to offer a Long Life puja to HH 17th Karmapa. Members and officers will prepare some simple foods for those who will attend that day's puja. Everyone is invited. For those who are interested to join may bring some offerings like food, katha, etc. to offer to three jewels. 25th Kagyu Monlam Chenmo on December 17-27 year 2007
Our resident lama - Lama Karma Kunzang is inviting members and dharma brothers and sisters to join the 25th Kagyu Monlam from 17th to 24th day and three days teachings to be given by His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Urgyen Thrinley Dorje from 25th - 27th day of December, 2007 in Buddhist holy site of Bodh Gaya, India, and Lama Kunzang will lead those who are willing to join this great event. During this auspicious activity, participants will attend the prayers with Rinpoches and Senior Lamas and teachings from His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa Urgyen Thrinley Dorje. It is very good if one can attend the 25th Kagyu Monlam Chenmo in India this year. If one due to some circumstances do not permit him/her to travel, he/she might also generate merit through making sponsorship to this event. Any donation made will be used in making butter lamp and flower offerings to three jewels, and offerings to the sangha such as bread, tea, and their meals of the day. One also can help through spreading the news, inviting friends to visit the website of Kagyu Monlam Chenmo, or cherishing those who are fortunate to join or sponsoring this event will also accumulate merits through the powerful blessing Lord Buddha.
